TIME TOGETHER CLUB

This service is only accessible to those that are referred through social workers, council, and other official means of referral. We currently are not taking open registrations for this service.

The Time Together Club is designed specifically for the elderly. The club is not just a place to savour a hot, home-cooked meal but a sanctuary for combating loneliness and fostering connections within the community.

The battle against loneliness and isolation starts as soon as the clients leave their home, as they are collected right from their door and joining other members of The Time Together Club. Transport is Provided by Community Transport Waltham Forest.

The Time Together Club is a celebration of togetherness. Participants are welcomed into a warm and inviting space where laughter, shared stories, and newfound friendships flourish. The club serves as a social hub, offering a chance for attendees to break free from the confines of solitude and enjoy the simple pleasure of human connection.

The range of activities provided at the Time Together Club ensures that there’s something for everyone. From the meditative strokes of colouring to the strategic moves of dominoes and cards, participants can engage in activities that not only entertain but also stimulate the mind and spark conversation. Each member of the club is served freshly cooked hot meals, prepared on site for them.

Last Time, at the Time Together Club…

Sunday 17th of March 2024

In our last Time Together Club Session, the members enjoyed a fantastic concert with musicians from Live Music Now. Quartet Pneumatik are a vibrant saxophone quartet. Joshua, Lydia, Joe and Ruben engaged with our members and it wasn’t long before everyone was clapping and singing along and as it was St Patricks day, they included some Irish melodies especially for Joe. It was lovely to see everyone excited about the Live Music, and happily entertained by it all.

What else is on offer?

The club has a range of different activities, such as pottery, gardening, painting, Bingo, accessible exercise, glass painting, singing, drumming and so much more. Our programme provides a stimulating range of activities to participate in.
